I’ve always believed that simplicity is fascinating on a universal level, and yet, so easily overlooked by everyone, including myself. In March 2011, I started an online project called afatpenguin that aimed to remind myself (and hopefully others) to always hold on to that belief – I did this by posting doodles revolving around a fat penguin (surprise, surprise), accompanied by a short message.
Today, afatpenguin is still alive and kicking. So if you’re having a bad day, need a reminder of the simple and good things life has to offer, or if you just need a daily dose of cute, the flightless feathered friend might just be the companion you’re looking for.
